Omachron Plastics Inc. are happy to announce that we are starting to offer plastic sheet. Using our proprietary technology, we are able to make sheet that conforms to tolerance requirements, can be thinner than thicknesses that are commonly offered, and can incorporate ribs and other geometrical profiles, and can be colorful!
We are getting the ball rolling with ABS and Polystryene sheet, but will be adding more materials in the coming months.
What would I use sheet for? - I hear you ask. Well, take a look at suggestions for some ideas. If you are unsure if sheet is suitable for a certain application, contact us and we can provide you with assistance.
Vacuum Formed Packing – support fragile items during shipping. Optionally, heat seal a thin, clear plastic over an ABS tray.
Trays – for holding screws, fasteners, or other components
Tub/Shower surrounds
Housing – for small products including electronics
Luggage – rigid suitcases
Masks etc.
Many of the applications listed above utilize the process of thermoforming. This refers to the heating of a plastic to a temperature that allows the plastic to be formed into different shapes.
